There is power and strength in taking control of your own narrative.

And that is precisely what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done since announcing that they planned to step down from their official roles as senior royals. After the move that's since been dubbed "Megxit", Meghan and Harry have since spoken out about the events leading up to their decision to step back in a major interview with Oprah.

Now, Netflix has teased a new documentary called Harry and Meghan made by the couple themselves (who signed a major deal with the streaming company in 2020).

"When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear the story from us?" Markle asks in the teaser, which makes it clear that this doco will be an intimate look at the couple's story and their version of events.

"No one sees what's happening behind closed doors," says Harry, in response to a question about his motivations for making this documentary.

And it couldn't be more awkward timing for the Royal Family.

Harry and Meghan is coming soon to Netflix.
