The birth of a child is always going to be a pretty stressful event, so it's nice to know you've got people watching your back.

Harry Styles, for instance. When James Corden had to dash to the hospital for the birth of his baby girl, the former One Direction-er stepped in last minute to fill his shoes.

"This is very exciting," says Styles in the opening monologue above. "Just half an hour ago James and his wife Jules had a beautiful baby girl."

He then goes on to crack some solid jokes about Corden looking like a giant baby, and hints at the possibility of pinching Corden's job if CBS "likes what they see".

To be fair, who wouldn't?
