With James Corden off filming this week, it's up to some hard-working guest hosts to fill his very large shoes. On Monday it was the piano-wielding Alicia Keys, and today it's none other than former One Directioner (not to mention Late Late Show regular) Harry Styles.

In the clip above, Styles gives Corden a lift to the CBS studios while getting tips for his hosting gig.

Corden's advice? "You have got to make your guests feel comfortable. A lot of that is about feigning enthusiasm."

What follows is an impromptu lesson in how to fake laugh, followed by a cheerful rendition of Styles' "Watermelon Sugar," Carpool Karaoke-style.

Get these two a movie together already.
