The first trailer for HBO's upcoming adaptation of Fahrenheit 451 gives a glimpse at the fire-filled intensity that the movie will be bringing when it releases in May.

Starring Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon, Fahrenheit 451 is a television movie based on the famous novel of the same name by Ray Bradbury. Published in 1953, Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel that depicts a futuristic America where books are banned and some people (including Jordan's character Guy Montag) are employed to burn every single one of them.

Fahrenheit 451 is regarded as one of the best fiction novels ever written and was previously adapted into a movie in 1966, a stage play version (by Bradbury) in 1979, a radio dramatization in 1982, and a video game in 1984.
