Netflix has revealed the first scene from one of the TV shows we can't wait to watch this summer: Heartstopper Season 2. And it all starts with that tiny, powerful word: "Hi ❤️".

In the opening scene, fuelled by Maggie Rogers's banger "Shatter," Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) wakes up to a sweet message from his newwww boyfriend Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), then heads to school with his sister Tori (Jenny Walser) feeling lighter than air.

This scene was originally shown at Netflix's Tudum global fan event in Brazil Saturday, following last month's first look at Season 2.

How to watch: Heartstopper Season 2 premieres on Netflix August 3.
