If there's one thing we know about HBO's His Dark Materials, it's that there are materials and they are dark. First there was a golden compass, but this new Season 2 teaser hints at a very...subtle knife. The one-and-a-half minute sneak peek also gives fans a good look at Andrew "Hot Priest" Scott as John Parry, Lin-Manuel Miranda doing more balloon stuff as Lee Scoresby, and the continued cross-world adventures of Lyra and Will.

His Dark Materials Season 2 will premiere in November on HBO.
