Hopefully by now you've seen The Lego Batman Movie and reveled in it's delightful musical finale, but what you might not know is that it's been done before -- by actual humans.

In 2012, internet sensation StarKid (the team behind a viral musical about a certain boy wizard) staged Holy Musical B@man!, a superhero amalgam that predates even the first Avengers movie and ends in an all-out Justice League musical number, "Super Friends."

In the musical, as with Lego Batman, Batman (Joe Walker) learns to make friends, to love and appreciate Robin (Nick Lang) and Alfred (Chris Allen). The song starts around 2:52 and dare we say it's as infectious as "Friends Are Family"? If Batman and Superman can be friends twice over, so can these fabulous tunes about super friends.

Disclosure: This reporter worked with StarKid briefly, years before Holy Musical B@man!
