The Lord of the Rings gets one homemade trailer to rule them all, from our CineFix series, Homemade Movies. Here, J.R.R. Tolkien's epic trilogy comes to life without any fancy visual effects or expensive flights to New Zealand. (Take that, Peter Jackson.)

This remake is based on the original teaser for the entire trilogy, way back in 2000, so it uses footage from all three films—The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King—which were all shot at the same time.
