Claire Saffitz, pastry chef and senior food editor at Bon Appétit, attempts to make her own version of the iconic treat in a new video on the magazine's YouTube channel. After several attempts (and several weeks), she finally creates a candy that seems super spot-on -- at least according to her coworkers' reviews.
The best part, in our opinion: She made the green candies lime-flavored instead of green apple, as they should be.
