Donald Glover took on the Hot Ones challenge and he went on a journey.

Making his way through spicier and spicier wings, the multi-hyphenate star spoke to First We Feast's Sean Evans about his latest album Atavista and upcoming visual album Bando Stone and the New World — his final under the name Childish Gambino. They also got into his home vegetable and fruit garden, the conflict of comedy self-flagellation and rap's "bragadocia", as well as his big break writing for 30 Rock and the audacity of wearing a new hat to the NBC office.

It's a pretty wholesome time, and moves into spiritual journey territory complete with coyote guide, especially when they get to Da Bomb and the spice hits.

"He's has one eye now and he's got the Thanos glove on," says Glover, dealing with the hottest sauce in the lineup. "He wants me to make up with my cousin. I should talk to him. I'm sorry, I'm sorry I did that to you. I didn't mean to hurt you, we were six."
