Love the art crime cool of graffiti writing but hate the pesky getting arrested thing? We have a solution: virtual reality graffiti, complete with a spray can you can wield with none of the messy aerosol paint drips or lung-scarring fumes.

A group of developers called Master of Shapes took HTC Vive's new experimental VR tracking pucks and rigged one to work with a 3D-printed spray paint can controller for a game that lets you bomb real walls with graffiti art, while only leaving your actual mark in VR.

Yes, Kingspray is great and all, but this method brings a lot more of the actual feel of graffiti art to the medium of VR. The team hasn't announced any plans to try to release this as a commercial game, but they helpfully posted DIY details for anyone who wants to tackle the somewhat complicated work of building their own version.
