UPDATE: March 26, 2016, 2:25 p.m. EDT According to Australia's 9 News, the girl Jackman helped pull to safety was his own daughter, 10-year-old Ava Jackman.

Hugh Jackman pulled a real-life superhero move this week when he saved his two children from a dangerous riptide at Bondi Beach.

Footage posted by 9 News in Australia shows the actor helping a man pull a young girl to safety, then rescuing his own son, Oscar, 15, from the same current.

All in a day's work for Wolverine.
