Iggy Azalea is opening up about her darkest days.

The "Team" rapper got candid in a new radio interview with 106 FM's The Cruz Show, saying she considered committing suicide because of all the backlash she's faced over the last few years.

"There were times when I just wanted to quit life," she said.

"Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I'd be like, 'What if I just kept driving off the canyon?'"

Azalea was heavily criticized after the success of her 2014 single "Fancy," mostly by those who felt she was appropriating hip hop and black culture -- using a put-on voice and persona to break into hip-hop. The criticism only escalated from there, with Azalea quickly becoming an easy target for jokes.

In her Cruz interview, the rapper says she was also scared she'd have to leave the U.S. if her career failed. Originally from Australia, Azalea is living stateside on a work visa.

"If I don't have a job, that means I go home," she said. "My whole life is here, so that's a lot for somebody to deal with."
