MRI scans are unsettling enough without the trailer for Insidious: The Red Door.

Blumhouse has dropped its second trailer for the fifth and final instalment of Leigh Whannell's Insidious series, with original stars Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne returning for one last round of horrendous jump scares. And this time, Wilson is directing.

Set 10 years after the first film's horrifying events, the story meets up with the Lamberts, who are still plagued by the terrorising spirits of The Further. Josh (Wilson) and Renai's (Byrne) son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) is a grown up now, but hasn't yet outrun what sent him into a coma all those years ago.

If you love a good scare, this one's for you.

Insidious: The Red Door is in cinemas from July 7.
