Irish soccer fans interrupt reporter to cheer on his broadcast

In a briefly terrifying but eventually lighthearted maneuver, a Hungarian TV reporter named Mohay Bence, in France for the Euro 2016 football/soccer tournament, was spotted on camera by several Irish supporters. Things escalate from there, very literally, as they lift him up and start cheering around him.

A journalist to the bitter end, Bence continues reporting the entire time and barely stutters as the growing crowd goes wild around and beneath him. While they try to put a hat on him and he briefly gets an Irish flag draped over his face, Bence takes it in in stride and the fans are thankfully a cheery bunch.

With the news stories of violent football hooligans running around France during the tournament, it's good to see proof that many aren't dangerous. Just a bit crazy.
