He's nicknamed the real-life Iron Man for his impressive jet engine flight suit which has a very close resemblance to the Tony Stark's one.

But now Richard Browning, founder of Gravity Industries, can pride himself on setting a new Guinness World Record for the fastest-ever flight in a flight suit.

During the third and final attempt over Lagoona Park in Reading, England, Browning reached a speed of 32.02 mph (51.53 km/h).

His suit consists of six small kerosene-fuelled micro gas turbines strapped to his arms, which have 22kg of thrust and are controlled by human body movement.

“I am delighted we have set the record. I’m very proud indeed to be a part of Guinness World Records Day, it is a pleasure and a privilege to have our unique creation recognised and celebrated all round the world," Browning said.

Maybe he'll get a job at Stark Industries?
