It Lives Inside already looks like a must-see.
The winner of SXSW's Midnighter Audience Award, It Lives Inside follows a young teenager named Sam (Megan Suri) as she tries to fight against a demonic entity haunting her former best friend, Tamira (Mohana Krishnan). The entity, referred to as "The Pishach" in the film's trailer, requires Sam to come to terms with her Indian culture and heritage to figure out how to defeat it.
With incredible suspense and jump-scares to match, It Lives Inside is guaranteed to leave you spooked.
While the film premiered in SXSW, its theatrical release date still hasn't been announced.
