If you're planning to sleep tonight, you might not want to click play on the trailer above. Because that right there is the trailer for the latest adaptation of Stephen King's It – and it's freakin' terrifying.

Andrés Muschietti directs the new It, starring Bill Skarsgård (Hemlock Grove) as the new Pennywise the clown. Jaeden Lieberher and Finn Wolfhard (of Stranger Things fame, so he's really cornered the market on creepy '80s nostalgia) play some of the kids.

It is in theaters September 8.
