Never mind imitation – dedicating a song to someone is the sincerest form of flattery.

That's what James Corden discovered when he became aware of a Swedish song entitled "Carpool Karaoke," which is basically a massive tribute to the Late Late Show host.

Nanne Grönvall, a Swedish singer who competed in the regional contests for a chance to go to the Eurovision song contest, performed a song which namechecks Corden and his iconic musical segment. "They say, 'come on, let's shop, let's part and go to a spa," sings Nanne. "None of that feels good for only one thing can make me happy. I want to sing Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, yeah."

You can actually listen to the full song on Spotify, and it's quite the earworm.

Sadly, Nanne did not win. Sweden made the unfortunate decision to move forward with two other musicians they deemed more likely to do well at Eurovision. "I've got some bad news for you," said Corden. "That song lost. And it lost in what is being called the biggest upset in international original pop song competition history."

Still, at least Corden considers it one of the best songs he's ever heard. That's what really counts.
