Speeding around a sandy race track is hard enough, but it becomes significantly more perilous when the person in the passenger seat is throwing a barrage of general knowledge questions at you.

For a segment on The Late Late Show, James Corden joins Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May for a unique type of race: they each have to do a lap of the track while Corden asks them about everything from the capital of Russia to James May's favourite sexual position, and a second gets added on to their time for every question they get wrong.

We don't want to give away the outcome, but we will say this: the eventual winner is still not the tallest person on the podium.

The Grand Tour launches on Amazon Prime on Nov. 8.
