The weird thing is, this isn't even the strangest Tinder scenario we've ever heard of.

Sally Hawkins and James Corden took part in a sketch on The Late Late Show on Tuesday night parodying The Shape of Water (in which Hawkins plays a woman who falls in love with a mer-creature).

In the sketch Hawkins is catfished by a socially awkward sea monster (Corden). Pretty much the modern horror story we've all come to know and dread: jokes falling flat, inane chit-chat, the works.
