Until now, I never knew I needed to see Chloe Fineman as an absolutely wigged-out Nancy Pelosi, but I'm so glad we have it.

In the hilarious cold open for Saturday Night Live the cast takes on the Jan. 6 House committee members who have gathered to vote on their final verdict regarding the capitol insurrection. Kenan Thompson plays Rep. Bennie Thompson, with Heidi Gardner as Rep. Liz Cheney, Mikey Day as Rep. Jamie Raskin, Andrew Dismukes as Rep. Adam Kinzinger, and Michael Longfellow as Rep. Adam Schiff.

"The Jan. 6 was one of the most traumatic and consequential moments in our nation's history," Kenan as Rep. Thompson says. "So to fight back, we have assembled a team of monotone nerds to do a PowerPoint."

If you don't stay for the cast doing their impersonations then you should stay to hear Sarah Sherman as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer desperately trying to order dill pickles over the phone. On top of that, cast member James Austin Johnson does perhaps the best Trump impersonation in SNL history. That's not an exaggeration.
