These robot hands form a ruthless blocking machine. They are one of the secret training weapons used by the Japanese national volleyball teams to mimic the defensive formation of opposing teams.

Designed by researchers at the University of Tsukuba and the Japanese Volleyball Association, the machines are just as fast as some top defensive players.
