For most of us, chalkboards remain a distant memory from school, not a canvas for artistic achievement. But in adept hands, masterpieces can be made.
In this music video for "Sakanide" by J-pop group, White Jam, two students from Kochi Nishi High School bring the song to life with this drawing of school and the pangs of graduation.
The finished artwork is so breathtaking that our hearts dropped when the artists proceeded to erase all their hard work by the time the song is over.
Both girls are last year's winners of Japanese blackboard maker Nichigaku's chalkboard art contest. With a national title and now a music video under their belts, we can't wait to see what else these talented chalkboard artists have up their sleeves.
