The exclusive teaser for Jennifer Lopez's new film, The Mother, starts off as any Jennifer Lopez film begs to: with scenes of her doing pull-ups in the middle of a vast, empty snowscape.
We see JLo working out, hunting, and living what appears to be a fairly secluded life. That is, until a young girl, Lopez's character's estranged daughter, is taken by dangerous men. And in Netflix's The Mother, you don't want to be on Lopez's bad side.
"She needs protection right now," Lopez's character, a deadly assassin, says in the exclusive teaser. "You saw what was out there. It'll keep coming. If there's trouble, come find me."
The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez, Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael Garcia Bernal will hit Netflix in May 2023.
