Jimmy Kimmel has now been back for two days after his long summer vacation, and he's making up for lost time when it comes to Donald Trump.

Yesterday he responded directly to the president talking about how Kimmel will be the next late night host canceled, and on Wednesday night, he turned his attention to Trump once again trying to deflect attention away from his refusal to release the so-called Epstein files.

"I think we're probably having, according to what I read even from two people in this room, we're having the most successful eight months of any president ever — and that's what I want to talk about," Trump said during a press conference. "That's what we should be talking about, not the Epstein hoax."

"We're almost at the 'I never met anyone named Jeffrey Epstein' part of this story," responds Kimmel, before playing another clip of Trump saying people should be talking about how he "ended seven wars" instead. "That's a lot of wars. Any we may have heard of, by the way? Last week it was 10 wars, now it's seven, tomorrow it'll be 15 wars. This guys is ending...he ended Star Wars, I don't know if you heard that? He did."

Fortunately, Kimmel has a solution for the president.

"Listen, I've got an idea of how you can get people to stop talking about releasing the Epstein files," he says. "Release the Epstein files."
