Late night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel had a little fun on April Fools' Day this year, each flying across the country to swap shows for the day. Now both The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! have released behind-the-scenes footage showing the planning, preparation, and rehearsal that went into this prank.

It also revealed that the considerate Jimmy Kimmel Live! crew kindly provided Fallon with a cup full of tissues for him to spit into at his leisure. Fallon did not request this.

"I can't believe that was the first thing that was offered to me," said Fallon, collapsing in laughter. "I love it."

"We are all, I have to say, very impressed and depressed at how nice your studio is compared to ours," Kimmel said to Fallon as they tested out the video link from each other's usual studios. "How's that s**thole in L.A. that you're working in?"
