"If you want a Baby Yoda for your kid or your adult nerd, help is on the way," the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! boldly declared during Monday's episode.

Despite Baby Yoda fever sweeping the internet, it's impossible to get an official toy of the character to place under the tree this Christmas. "[Disney] didn't want to make they toys because they didn't want to spoil the reveal of the character [on The Mandalorian]," said Kimmel. "And now it's too late — Christmas is now ruined."

However, to fill that big-eared hole in your heart this holiday season, Kimmel has come up with an easy four-step project to make your own Baby Yoda. It looks just like the real thing, provided you've never seen the real thing before.

Your kid may not cry because they didn't get a Baby Yoda this Christmas, but that doesn't mean they won't cry at all.
