The entire country is on edge waiting for the 2020 election results to be finalized, but thankfully Jimmy Kimmel Live! gave us three minutes of (somewhat) peace with a political edition of his Mean Tweets series.
Several 2020 Democratic candidates like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren appear in the video; the best tweet among them is probably the one for Pete Buttigieg, who's called Howdy Doody "if Howdy Doody was a fuckin' narc." Poetry!
That's not all, though. Kimmel managed to bring elected politicians from both parties together to read insults spewed from the depths of Twitter, the most notable being Ted Cruz. I won't spoil the tweet for you, though — watch for yourself.
