John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are basically the definition of marriage goals. But it turns out Mr Blunt (AKA Emily's dad) is something of a legend himself.

While Krasinski was filming the second season of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan in London, he told his father-in-law about some of the stunts he'd had to do — including a rooftop jumping scene.

"My favourite part of the day was going back to my father-in-law," said Krasinski. "By the way, my father-in-law is the greatest human ever." Aww.

"He's got the greatest accent and he's so impassioned about everything," he added. "So, he was like, 'What did you get up to today, Johnny?' and I was like, 'Oh you know, I was running on some rooftops and then a guy jumps into the Thames.'"

Then came the real treat: Krasinski doing an impression of his father-in-law's British accent.

"He was like 'REALLY? That's ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Good for you. That's fantastic! Fantastic," said Krasinski, in a very good British accent.

Somebody give this guy an Oscar.
