When it comes to summer tunes, what do you prefer -- a classic ballad or an upbeat bop?

Well, here to settle the argument once and for all are John Legend and James Corden.

In a segment on The Late Late Show, the two go head-to-head in an a capella riff-off, with Legend fighting for ballads and Corden defending the bops.

There's an entertaining version of Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy," a slowed down "All of Me," and the whole thing finishes with a rousing duet of Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved."

Needless to say, the harmonies are on point.
