It's easy to shrug off a third party candidate -- but it takes a master to fully take one down.
No one is more qualified than the job than comedian John Oliver. In a segment on Last Week Tonight last night, Oliver took down Jill Stein and Gary Johnson not by simply discarding third parties, but by holding the candidates actually accountable for their views.
"Look, I would love for there to be a perfect third party candidate, I even understand the argument that a third party candidate can put a new issue or a new solution on the table, but it is hard to make a case that is what's happening here," Oliver said.
