John Oliver creates timeshare ad to show just how bad timeshares really are

Well technically it's an ad for a timeshare company's exit company's exit company.

You've probably already heard that timeshares can be a bit of a scam, and guess what? John Oliver is here to remove any doubt whatsoever from your mind.

After breaking down the many examples of people paying over the odds for vacations and people trapped in timeshares for life, Oliver goes on to introduce the (equally scammy) timeshare exit companies trying to exploit people who are stuck.

To round things off and show just how ridiculous the whole industry is, he recruits Rachel Dratch to star opposite him in a mock commercial for "Timeshare Exit²" — a company to get your money back from the timeshare exit company that took your money to get you out of your timeshare.
