It's not *really* in-game footage, is it?

Let's clear something up real quick: our first proper glimpse at Jurassic World Evolution -- a game that lets you build your own dinosaur zoo -- happened already, with the debut trailer. It might have been an aspirational look at what the eventual game will look like, but it at least gave a sense of how the finished thing will play.

This trailer, which purports to deliver the "first in-game footage" for Evolution? Not so much. It's a pretty video featuring virtual dinosaurs. That's it.

But hey, who doesn't love dinos? These bird-lizards certainly look great, even if you're never (or rarely) seeing them from this angle in the final product. Think of this trailer less as a look at the game and more as a peek at the technology powering said game.

Jurassic World Evolution is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime next summer (probably close to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's June 22 theatrical release).
