It takes a lot of work to make Chris Pratt look this good.

That's not a knock on him, mind you. It's simply an acknowledgment of all the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into films like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

In this missive from the set, Pratt introduces us to Pete Harcourt, the safety diver whose job it is to, as Pratt puts it, "help actors like me look like we know what we're doing underwater, which we don't."

The video is one in a series of behind-the-scenes "Jurassic Journals" from Pratt. Previous videos have featured makeup artist Vivian Baker, assistant script supervisor Kelly Krieg, stars Daniella Smith and Justice Smith, and more.

Because although Pratt may be the biggest star on that set, he knows better than anyone that it takes a village to keep him shining this bright.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is in theaters June 22.
