Katy Perry's new track 'Bon Appétit' is just a nice song about food

The lyrics are all culinary related. Really.

Pop music these days is saturated with songs about sex and debauchery, so it's refreshing that Katy Perry's new track "Bon Appétit" is just about nice food.

Here, take these lyrics from the third verse as an example:

"Hope you've got some room, For the world's best cherry pie/ Gonna hit that sweet tooth, boy"

Everyone likes cherry pie, don't they? It's universal. It's nice that Perry's decided to break the mould and just write about something wholesome.

The last time an artist tried something this fresh was probably 50 Cent's "Candy Shop."
