Social distancing has kept increasingly cabin-fevered couples trapped together for months now, giving rise to all manner of petty squabbles. Among them: heated arguments over frozen desserts.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick joined Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday to reenact an actual, embarrassingly relatable fight another couple had. The dispute? Exactly who should be allowed to eat the cookies and cream ice cream.

"But you also bought mint chocolate chip, which I hate," says Sedgwick with an increasingly false smile.

"Which you don't have to eat," responds Bacon.

"Unless we run out of cookies and cream, because someone who likes mint chocolate chip is eating cookies and cream instead!"

It's a very silly yet very familiar sort of fight, complete with pointed passive-aggressive comments that seem like they're about more than just ice cream.

Bacon and Sedgwick also spoke about their initiative I Feed the Front, which is raising money for charities Feed The Fight and Frontline Foods. These charities are delivering food from restaurants to frontline workers, supporting both in the process.
