Kevin Love has been the third wheel on Cleveland's "Big Three" since joining the team in 2014.

On Wednesday night, however, he took the spotlight from LeBron James and Kyrie Irving by scoring 34 points in the first quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers.

That's the second-most points scored in a quarter in NBA history, trailing only Klay Thompson's historic performance from last season.

"That was lightning," James said after the game, according to ESPN. "We just kept giving him the ball and he kept knocking them down."

In case you're wondering, next on the list are George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony, who have both scored 33 in a quarter.

Love ended up with 40 total points in Cleveland's 137-125 win. Not too bad.
