You can say this about Rex Tillerson -- he's managed a full nine months in the Trump administration, that's like a decade in Trump years.
Jimmy Kimmel revved up the jokemobile last night following Rex Tillerson's press conference, which he called in the wake of a news story that claimed he had called President Trump a "moron" and had to be persuaded to stay on as secretary of state by Mike Pence.
Kimmel was gleeful to note that Tillerson did not deny calling Trump a moron outright. He fervently denied the notion that he had considered resigning, and in response to morongate, he said "I'm not gonna deal with petty stuff like that."
So, in Kimmel's estimation, he definitely said it.
This gave Kimmel's writing team the chance to let rip with all the insults they could concoct for Trump in a closing sketch, in which a White House press official reads a list of insults that Tillerson also DID NOT call Trump, such as "suntanned ham-loaf" and "racist sweet potato."
