A kiteboarder out for a spin accidentally collided with a huge humpback whale, and it was all captured on camera.
Andrei Grigoriev was kitesurfing in the waters off of Crissy Field Beach in San Francisco when he suddenly collided with a huge humpback whale.
Out of nowhere the whale breaches the water's surface, sending Grigoriev over the whale's back, kind of like a really sweet jump.
Grigoriev was stunned with the collision, but was able to stay on his board and continue boarding. Fortunately, it doesn't appear as if the whale or Grigoriev were injured in the crash.
