Kobe Bryant is a legend on the basketball court, but he's much, much more than that.

The former shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night to promote his new film, Dear Basketball and while there, he had an opportunity to flex on the haters by whipping out an unexpected talent: slam poetry.

A turtleneck-wearing Bryant laments about Steve Urkle, everyone's favorite character on the '90s sitcom Family Matters. He performs with unexpected grace and flow that would make the television nerd proud. Don't worry, he slides in the iconic catchphrase in there, too.
