Pizza is one of the only good things left in this world. If you'd like to ruin it for yourself, we'd suggest viewing this.

Science Magazine, a publication that hates when we feel happy, uploaded a timelapse on Wednesday featuring 10,000 black soldier fly larvae eating a pizza in two hours. Ew!

Researchers, who posted their findings in the Journal of the Royal Society Interface, are studying the flow of larvae on the surface of the pizza during feeding. They're hoping to learn more about how, once full, the grubs "can be turned into high-protein food for animals such as chickens and fish that humans are more interested in eating." Hopefully, this will end up cutting down on food waste.

So, it's larvae eating pizza for a good cause. But it's still larvae eating pizza, which is why my verdict is: Thanks, I hate it.
