Drag may not be a contact sport, but these queens are not afraid to put their bodies on the line.

If you've ever been to a drag show, you know gender-bending is just one aspect of the performance. Elaborate lip-syncing plays a pivotal role during a queen's set on stage, and throughout these performances, one particular dance move has been known to slay the stage.

It's called a "death drop," and it's no small feat.

We wanted to better understand this show-stopping maneuver, so we went to RuPaul's DragCon in NYC to ask some of our favorite queens if they could teach us how to master it. Behold: the infamous death drop.
