For many, a TV is the perfect bedtime companion. Unfortunately, it's not always convenient to have a huge TV in your bedroom. At CES 2021, LG showed off a concept that could potentially address the issue in a unique, somewhat bizarre way.
Tentatively called the "Smart Bed," LG's concept is a small frame you ideally place at the foot of your bed. Inside the frame is a 55-inch transparent OLED screen that you can command to rise up and become a fully functional TV with no backlight. Once you're done using it, you can make it slink back into its frame so it's out of sight and out of mind.
Of course, this is just a concept with no release date or price attached to it. Hopefully one day we'll get our hands on one.
