Liam Neeson and Helen Mirren discuss their 1981 sex scene that never made the film

It turns out when you have two famous actors who used to be an item on a talk show together, you get some pretty great stories.

Liam Neeson and Helen Mirren -- who actually used to live together -- both appeared on the latest edition of The Graham Norton Show. Neeson spoke about the first time he saw her, which happened to be on the set of the 1981 movie Excalibur -- and then they moved on to chat about a sex scene they filmed on that same movie that never made the final cut (skip to 2:30 in the video above).

Apparently Neeson was wearing a suit of armour and there was an actual eagle watching them, which must have been quite a sight.
