HBO's line of music documentaries continues, with the latest featuring Grammy-winning artist Lil Nas X.

Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero is centered around the singer's first-ever headlining concert tour, but also sees him speaking about his rise of stardom, his sexuality, and his upbringing. Produced by HBO Documentary Films, alongside along with Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records, the film will appear on Max this month.

"I’m always trying to challenge the way my family thinks of things," he says in the documentary trailer. "So many queer people are making these strides, but it’s a fight."

Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero premieres Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. ET on Max.
