Lilly Singh breaks down the things she's taught NBC about female late night hosts

Lilly Singh has her very own late night show now, and as she explains to fellow NBC host Jimmy Fallon in the interview above, she still has a lot of new stuff to learn.

But it sounds like the network has quite a bit to learn, too.

"The learning curve goes both ways. So I'm learning about unions, and rules, and laws," says Singh in the clip above, "and they are learning about a female late night host!"

Singh goes on to list a few examples of things she's had to teach the network so far while making A Little Late -- starting with their ambitious plans for fitting 96 episodes worth of outfits in one go.

"It was suggested to me that I should do a single fitting for all 96 outfits," explains Singh. "That would be like a four-day fitting!

"Also, and I love this one -- I was told that there's not a budget for a manicure, like to get my nails done, because the other late night hosts don't have one!"

Fallon's response? "Why don't I have one! I want a mani-pedi!"
