John Krasinski, Lin-Manuel Miranda surprise a 'Hamilton' superfan with a special full-cast performance

How does a 10-year-old girl, fan of a show and a writer, blocked from her outing by a virus, dropped in a Zoom chat with two actors, end up serenaded by her hero and some others?

John Krasinski, Lin-Manuel Miranda surprise a 'Hamilton' superfan with a special full-cast performance

John Krasinski's YouTube show Some Good News is only in its second week, but has just pulled off one of the most heartwarming Zoombombings of the coronavirus era (not that hard, considering some of the shockers we've already seen).

Aubrey, a 9-year-old Hamilton megafan, was due to see her favourite musical in person for the first time this week, but obviously that's not possible during the current pandemic shutdowns. As her mother tweeted to creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, she had to settle for watching him in Mary Poppins Returns instead.

Fortunately, Krasinski knows a gal who knows a guy. Next thing Aubrey knows, she's being treated to a three-way Zoom call with Miranda himself, which turns into a performance of "Alexander Hamilton" with basically the entire original Broadway cast. Anthony Ramos, Leslie Odom Jr, Daveed Diggs, Renee Elise Goldsberry, and a dozen more stars join the call, but nobody is phoning it in.

And if that doesn't get you to watch to the end, wait until Krasinski stands up right before the credits roll.
