Logan Paul's YouTube comeback video is just as awful as you expected

Well, Logan Paul has returned to YouTube and his apology tour is over.

Paul announced his triumphant return in a 12-minute video after a taking a monthlong "break" -- AKA his fall from grace following backlash from a video where he discovered a man who died by suicide in Japan's "suicide forest."

After a short skit, Paul starts off the vlog with a call to action for his fans to buy his merch, because "YouTube cut my AdSense in half." While he has always viciously promoted his merch line, the vlog paints Paul as the victim in this scenario.

Though Paul admits he was wrong in the clip, his new vlog signals he's back to being himself. Perhaps the only thing Paul has gained from the experience is the self-awareness to know a huge portion of the internet wants to see him fail.

In his multiple apology videos and interviews following the controversy, Paul tried to show how deeply sorry he was for his actions. It looks like that's all gone out the window, though, as Paul boasts about his rising subscriber count and interview with Good Morning America as just one of his many achievements during the "break."

You can watch as Paul quickly devolves into his usual antics in the video above. I guess.
