Patrick Stewart reveals what his superpower would be and it isn't mindreading

Patrick Stewart may play the world's pre-eminent telepath in the X-Men series, but in real-life the actor would never want to read another person's mind.

"How horrible would that be?" he told Mashable in an interview for Logan, immediately dismissing telepathy in favor for teleportation.

In Logan, Professor X's (Stewart) powers are as strong as ever, but amplified during violent seizures that affect everyone in his immediate vicinity. Stewart's ideal superpowers would be much more practical in the modern world, while his costar Hugh Jackman opted for a classic answer: Flight.

"I've had two or three flying dreams in my life," said Jackman, whose character has infinite regenerative ability. "I want to work out how to get that one back."

Logan is now in theaters.
